Our Site requires the use of cookies. Cookies are data that a web server transfers to an individual's computer for recordkeeping purposes. Cookies are an industry standard used by most websites and help facilitate users' ongoing access to and use of a particular website by, for example, providing information used to deliver content specific to your interests and for other purposes, such as security and other account administrative functions, and which may track Personal Information.

Cookies do not cause damage to your computer systems or files, and only the website that transferred a particular cookie to you can read, modify or delete such cookie. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there are simple tools available in most browsers that allow you to delete existing cookies, to automatically decline cookies or to be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer of particular cookies to your computer. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions. You should note, however, that declining cookies may make it difficult or impossible for you to use portions of the Site.

The security of your Personal Information is very important to us. We use physical, electronic and managerial procedures as well as encryption software to secure information transmission from your computer to our servers. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and us, or information stored on the Site or our servers, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties such as hackers, and by using the Site you assume this risk.

Some portions of the Site may be directed to children under 13. In these areas of the Site, our conduct is governed by federal law and regulations that address children’s online privacy, and we strictly abide by the last amendments adopted in December 2012 by the FTC to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), taking effect from July 1, 2013. The full text of the new rule can be found at: ftc.gov/os/2012/12/121219copparulefrn.pdf.

Our conduct is governed as well by the guidelines of the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU), a part of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. If you are under 13, please be sure to read this notice with your parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 on the Site, except as permitted by legal requirements and the CARU guidelines. We sometimes offer promotions on the Site, such as contests, sweepstakes and games, which children may enter. In those cases, we do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the promotion as a condition of participation. If we need more than just your child’s first name (or screen name) and e-mail address for your child to participate in a particular online promotion, we will ask your child for your e-mail address so that we can notify you of your child’s request and obtain your permission. When we ask for your permission, we will tell you what we will do with the information that you or your child provides to us. Unless you have explicitly consented, we do not (i) use your child’s personal information for any purpose other than to complete the promotion or (ii) share the information with third parties except as described above in this Privacy Notice. We do not keep your (or your child’s) email address unless you tell us it is okay. If we become aware that Personal Information from a child under 13 has been collected without such child’s parent or guardian’s consent, we will use all reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database. Upon proper identification, a parent may review any Personal Information we have collected from his or her child if we still have the information in our database. The parent also may request that the child’s information be deleted from our database and may refuse to permit further collection or use of the child’s information. If you are a parent and wish to exercise these rights, please use the “Contact Us” form.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions from this policy at any time. However, if at any time in the future we plan to use Personal Information in a way that differs from this Policy, we will post such changes here and provide you the opportunity to opt-out of such differing uses. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to this policy means you accept such changes.
